Septic Systems

Septic Systems rely on settling of the solids and separation by gravity. Solids that are denser than water sink to the bottom and form the “sludge” layer. Solids that are lighter than water float to the top and form the “scum” layer. (fats, grease, oils, etc.) The “clear zone” is the cleanest effluent, the middle that is tapped into and allowed to discharge into the drain field.

Maintenance & Repairs

Maintenance typically is done to ensure the best performance of the septic systems. And to satisfy the state reporting requirements. Maintenance includes activities such as checking pumps, floats, all electrical components, and the disposal system to ensure everything is functioning optimally and replacing/repairing if necessary.

Commercial Septic Systems

Commercial septic systems, generally are designed to treat 1,000 – 5,000 gallons per day, based on the structure they are accommodating. Systems can be designed for a restaurant/bar which will emphasize on a way to treat the excessive organic loading, the “grease” and food grinder usage. Or a 120 bay RV park that focuses on piping.
